Since joining Rev, I noticed that people truly care about each other here. I'm comfortable making jokes and having candid conversations with my teammates because Rev encourages us to have open discussions. I feel safe expressing my opinions knowing that I won't be judged or criticized for them in an unproductive manner. When I do speak up and give input, I'm also given the power to implement the points I brought up. It's a great feeling knowing that my opinions matter and are heard.
I enjoy being on the Sales Team at Rev. Sales Leadership consistently tries their best to coach, motivate, and praise individual contributors. Our sales environment is genuine and supportive, and if you are familiar with sales, you know how uncommon that can be. There is a major emphasis on culture. We celebrate the achievements of every function on our team (SDR, CS, AM, AE, and SAE), and we gain valuable insights from every experience!
When considering my next role, I wanted to join a company in which my voice would be heard, my contributions would be recognized, and my true self would be welcomed... I found all this and more once I joined the Rev team. In my career, I have never felt more valued, and accepted regardless of my background, race, or age. The culture here is truly special and drives me to be the best version of myself everyday. I am thankful to be working for a company that encourages its employees to not only ride the wave, but to create their own.
My team leaders practice candor and give us the opportunity to be heard. They've set up meetings where we can raise questions, concerns, and feedback. Our Responsible PTO policy & flexible work schedule also makes me feel supported in my personal life. Recently, my dad needed my help since he was moving back to the Philippines. I was able to take the time off that I needed to help my dad without having to worry. To me, these policies reinforce the importance of family and life outside of work.
People Systems & Operations
"You are a human first and employee second." Whether for health reasons or the snowpocalypse, I was consistently reminded to take space when I needed it. Although I onboarded remotely, hearing my manager and other managers remind their team members that we are humans first and therefore should always take space when we need it was extremely refreshing. Rev is the type of place where your manager would be upset if you DO work while you are supposed to be on vacation and I wouldn't have it any other way.
